When will the cost of new sessions increase?
The cost will increase beginning on September 1st, 2024
What will the new cost of sessions be?
For current patients, the new cost of a 25-minute medication management session will be $185. The new cost of a 50-minute therapy session will be $285.
Why the price increase?
Since the Maryland Anxiety and Depression Treatment Center opened in 2016, our rates have been the same. However, inflation since that time has been substantial and the costs of running the new office will, unfortunately, be higher.
I have chosen to increase rates for current patients by about half of the difference created by inflation since 2016.
Will rates increase again in the future?
I anticipate that rates increase again in late 2025 to match the difference created by inflation since 2016. After that time, rate increases will likely be smaller and occur every 1-2 years.
I do NOT anticipate that my rates will ever increase beyond the value of $160 in 2016 dollars!
Will you still provide paperwork to submit to insurance for reimbursement?
